OUR HISTORY

 

 

Healthy Life 3 Counseling Centers, Inc. was founded out of Ladies of God's Word Ministry, Inc. in 1998. A community outreach ministry which started in Missouri City, TX (Fort Bend County). It all began with twenty ladies who attended a bible study where Minister Weir taught the Word of God.

Minister Weir at that present time was a practicing BS-RN employed@ the VAMC while attending Graduate and Ministry College. She enjoyed sharing wisdom and insight into God's word with wisdom to comfort her family, friends and even strangers with the truth. Many college friends and others would seek out her wisdom in counseling for personal needs as well as relationships and professional challenges.

HL3CC first office was opened in 2001 @ 9894 Bissonnet STE 640 under the 'dba' name 'Log Health Christian Counseling'. Our clients came from every diverse background and walk of life. Dr. Weir later pursued her doctorate in Biblical Psychology and Counseling and completed in 2007 from TEU. She  presently lives in Houston, TX while in private practice full time. Dr. Weir has one adult son and attends Lakewood Church.
